This is a very interesting conclusion from our client Delta-ee on the future of EV charging in the UK over the next decade. The figure of 8% of EV charging being carried out using public network infrastructure is far lower than others have predicted. I think a lot of this will be down to the demographics of the 'early adopters', as 85% of those have off-street parking, way higher than the national average. In order to reach mass adoption of EVs, public charging will surely have a greater part to play, especially in urban environments.
