Whilst the consequences of our climate crisis are still hard to actually grasp and "feel" in a lot of peoples`daily lives in the western world (which is still a very large contributor to global warming), the numbers which Munich Re (the largest reinsurance company worldwide) have published are staggering.
The economic damage that natural catastrophes have caused in 2019 adds up to €150 Billion.
Whilst I am far from being alarmist, is is just a fact that the long term damage we cause through doing nothing now will be so much bigger than what it costs now to really change our behaviour and economy!
Australia is already burning - let`s show some leadership on all levels and stop that tragedy from happening elsewhere!
